These terms govern your use of PennyWizard. They are written to be read, not to be skipped — the short version is that the service is a free beta, your data is yours, and PennyWizard is a budgeting tool rather than a financial adviser.
PennyWizard is provided by Kevin Tellez, acting as an individual (persona natural) based in Colombia, at pennywizard.app and its subdomains.
By creating an account or using PennyWizard you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
PennyWizard is currently offered free of charge and in active development. That carries real consequences you should weigh before you put months of your financial life into it:
Because of the above, we strongly recommend exporting your data periodically and keeping that copy somewhere you control. PennyWizard should be your ledger, not your only ledger.
You must be at least 18 years old to use PennyWizard. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for everything that happens under your account.
Keep your credentials to yourself. If you believe someone else has gained access to your account, tell us at privacy@pennywizard.app.
While using PennyWizard, you agree not to:
The budgets, categories, transactions and other content you enter remain yours. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to operate the service: to store, process and display that content back to you, and to back it up and restore it.
We claim no ownership of your content, and we will not use it to train models, build advertising profiles, or sell to anyone.
PennyWizard records and summarises figures you enter. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and no output should be treated as a recommendation.
You are responsible for your own financial decisions. Calculations, projections and summaries are provided for convenience and may contain errors — verify anything that matters before acting on it.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by Colombian law, PennyWizard and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost profits, or for financial decisions you make using the service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
You may stop using PennyWizard and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes the data associated with it.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or that puts the service or other users at risk. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and we will notify you in the app before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use PennyWizard after that means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Bogotá, Colombia.
